Deep Sleep Protects Against Alzheimer’s
A recent study published in the journal Current Biology showed that people who got less deep sleep had more beta-amyloid. Also, a study published last year in the Science Magazine showed that reduced deep sleep is associated with an increase in tao. Tao and beta-amyloid significantly increased in people with Alzheimer’s disease.
Based on those two studied, Matthew Walker, leading sleep researcher and profession of neuroscience and psychology at UC, Berkley, concluded that “there is a significant relationship between sleep and dementia, particularly Alzheimer’s disease.”
CBD’s sedative and anxiety reducing properties helps to promote deep sleep, especially when combined with melatonin. According to Doctor Michael J Breus, melatonin “works to promote sleep by helping to regulate the body’s bio clock and sleep-wake cycles”.
Melatonin and CBD work together to promote deep sleep. CBD allows for your cells to be more receptive to Melatonin, while reducing negative side effects. Sweet Dream combines Melatonin and CBD in a delicious formula using natural ingredients and botanicals.
